Mignon

Preluded by a seductive melody and followed by distorted guitar. Mignon taunts the devil and raps: ‘...watch out lucifer, you´re dead meat, I´ll come one day to steal your noble seat!...’ Catchy lyrics accompanied by electro groovebox, heavy metal guitar and a highpitched rockbitch upfront. Mignon's lyrics are as domineering as they are playful, demonic beats and slithering synthesizers crawl at her feet as she consumes and projects all the music's hellish glory.

Mignon the merciless never leaves a boast unwarranted; you'll know this if you have ever caught one of her live performances. She will however, leave you enslaved by her metallic, satanic, rap trapping electro-voodoo Mignon´s live show, rocking and shocking, erupts with a violent combination of face-paint and smoke-bombs. Nurses and Military ensembles, fake knives and Freddy Krugeresque gloves all get their turn. It's almost as if Rob Zombie had raised her from the dead and sent one too many bolts of electricity to the brain. As Mignon heightens the pace, her heels flying far off the floor she performs with gratification and that alone compels you to dance like the devil.

Mignon has been steadily displaying her metalbitch performance to an enthusiastic audience all over Europe since early 2002. She played at the New York Electroclash-Festival and Arthur Bakers Festival in London ‘Return to NewYork’ opening for Pink Grease. Mignon played all over Europe and played Festivals in Germany, Switzerland and France, opening for Ellen Alien and Chicks on Speed. She also opened for ‘And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Death’ in Germany on their Tour 2004.

Mignon´s stage presence is so comanding that Peaches has taken her around the world. They charmed England at the Leeds and Reading Festival in 02, Australia and New Zealand for the ‘Big Day Out’, also Spain, Germany and Poland. They also sprayed the scent of rock while supporting ‘Queens Of The Stoneage’ and ‘And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Death’ in Northamerica through the fall of 2002.

Mignon is heard on several releases and compilations and is also featured on Peaches second album ‘Fatherfucker’ released by XL records.
